Here at Zion Health, we believe in natural healing remedies. Sustainability is essential for us, with many of our products relying on vegan-friendly ingredients. Being sustainable not only protects our ecosystem, but it helps preserve natural resources for later generations. As a company, we aim to reduce our plastic pollution and carbon footprint to become fully sustainable by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We’ve Done<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that most of the world’s plastic is in landfills? Our first step was creating a STEM Recycle Program<\/a> to reach our goal. With many of our products packaged with plastic bottles, we wanted to reduce the chances of them ending up in disposal areas. We’ve created a store credit system for those who recycle with us. First, customers register for an account with us at\u00a0Adamaminerals.com<\/a><\/strong>. Afterward, they can gather their empty Zion Health containers and ship them to us. Once the containers arrive at our facility, we calculate the amount of credit according to our credit list. We recycle the bottles ourselves, and customers receive a credit that can be collected and used in the future for other products. Additionally, our Ancient Clay Soaps are wrapped in biodegradable wrapping paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Plan For The Future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, where do we go from here? As a company, becoming fully sustainable is the ultimate end goal. Currently, we are looking into the possibilities of changing our plastic containers to Aluminum and Polyethylene terephthalate, or PET plastics for short. Aluminum and PETs are 100% recyclable and made to be reused. We’re also looking into the possibility of using biopolymers. It’s a polymer, a type of plastic, but derived from natural elements, making the polymer biodegradable. However, there are questions about Biopolymers because they are degradable. The question of how long the containers can last as different types of material and environments could change the container’s lifespan.
